This design is the official apparel for the awareness anthem \"No Control,\"<\/strong> a track written to support of Tourette\u2019s Action and their 2026 Awareness Month campaign: #NoControl. and to highlight the reality of living with Tourette's Syndrome. <\/span><\/p>

Tourette's is a neurodiverse spectrum condition where the key feature is tics, unexpected, inadvertent physical or vocal actions that a person cannot control. Living with Tourette's Syndrome means living with a constant lack of control, where your own body and voice can surprise you at any moment. This track is my way of taking that \"noise\" and turning it into something powerful. For those Tourettes this is our reality: Vocal tics can involve blurting out random words, phrases, or even things that are considered rude or crass. These tics do not reflect the person's thoughts or character; rather, they are often phrases that \"get stuck\" in their head, sometimes from something as simple as a cartoon they recently watched. <\/span><\/p>

Many people with Tourette's attempt to \"mask\" or hold in their tics to avoid social discomfort. However, masking is physically and mentally exhausting, and the tics will eventually come out, often more intensely than if they hadn't been suppressed. Ticking in public often leads to unwanted attention, laughter, or \"funny looks\" from others, which can leave the person feeling self-conscious or ashamed. However, people with Tourette's are more than their condition; we are a diverse group each with a various range interests and personalities that have nothing to do with their tics. Having a supportive environment where they can \"let it go\" without judgment is crucial for their well-being.<\/span><\/p>

Why wear #NoControl?<\/strong><\/p>
